In the chancel of the Augustian abbey (TS068-013---) at Athassel, 10.15m from the E gable, at the base a tomb niche in the N wall. The slab (Total L 0.42m; L to base of chamfer 0.4m; Wth at top 0.48m; Wth at base 0.48m; D 0.21m) It is described by Maher (1997, 53) as a tapering limestone slab (upper surface: L 0.36m; Wth at top 0.37m; Wth at base 0.35m) with a chamfer on the dexter (Wth 0.1m) and sinister (Wth 0.06m) edges and along the base (Wth 0.07m), with no evidence to suggest that it bore an inscription or design.
