What is recorded here

In pasture, atop very gradual rise of N and E-facing slopes, in SW corner of large L-shaped field. Circular enclosure (dims. c. 16m N-S; c. 20m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.45; ext. H 0.6m) of earth and stone, almost reduced to scarp in places along N half. Linear extension of bank (Wth 2.4m; L 6m) extends (long-axis N-S) from NE corner. Interior tends downslope to E. External fosse (Wth 2.3m; Dth 0.5m) SW-W-NW is shared between conjoined enclosure (TS068-011001-). Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
