In pasture on a N-facing slope. Circular area (dims. c. 41m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by inner scarp (H 0.4m), shallow intervening fosse (Wth 5.5m; Dth 0.4m), outer bank (Wth c. 4m; int. H. 0.5m; ext. H 0.95m) and external fosse (Wth c. 4.7m; D c. 0.35m). Inner scarp and outer bank are uneven in height due to erosion and survive best around base of mature trees. Curvilinear feature adjoins monument to S and is defined by bank (Wth 3m; H c. 0.25m) SE-W-NW extending from SW bank of ringfort. This is a possible annexe. Traces of long, narrow, sinuous depression possibly old watercourse to S and E of ringfort.
