In level pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Oval area (dims. c. 38m N-S; c. 34m E-W) defined by inner scarp (H c. 3.5m) with possible causewayed entrance (Wth c. 4m) at SE. Intervening fosse (Wth 13m; D 3.5m) is U-shaped. Outer bank (int. H c. 2m; ext. H 0.6m; Wth 9m) has a rounded top. Evidence of badger activity in exterior of scarp with material thrown out into fosse.
