In improved pasture, on a gentle SSE-facing slope due S of a large pond and due SW of a rectangular shelter belt. Identified during field survey by Alison McQueen and Vera Rahilly (28 November 2008). A circular area (dims. 4.5m N-S; 4.7m E-W) defined by a very shallow fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.1m), which is shared with an adjoining ditch barrow (TS066- 176002-) to the NNE. The interior is generally flat, tilting downslope slightly to SSE with the prevalent slope.
