In pasture, on a level area of a steep N-facing slope with panoramic views WSW-N-ENE. Circular area (diam. 24m) defined by bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.1m), broad, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4.3m; D 0.65m) from NNE-S-NW, a berm (Wth 6-10.5m), an outer bank (Wth 5.25m; int. H 0.7-1m; ext. H 0.9-2m) and an outer fosse (Wth 4.85-6.25; D 0.2-0.25m). The berm is widest at S and is densely overgrown. The outer bank has an entrance (basal Wth 2m; overall Wth 5m) at N, with gaps (Wth 1.5-3m) at E, ESE, NE due to livestock and gaps (Wth 1.75m) at NW and at SW (Wth 1m) due to drainage. A field boundary (long axis E-W) goes across the outer fosse at ESE to abut the outer bank. Stream that flows on S-side of this field boundary joins fosse SE-SSW and continues along field boundary (long axis ENE-WSW) on W-side of monument. Dry drain (long axis NW-SE) extends from the outer fosse at NW. Interior has a slight N-facing slope and is becoming overgrown with briars especially in NE-quadrant. A possible annexe (dims. 22m NNW-SSE; 15m ENE-WSW) adjoins the outer fosse at NE and is defined by a bank (Wth 3.95m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.55m) at N, E and S-sides and a fosse (Wth 3.95m; D 0.5m) on S-side. Interior of annexe is grass covered and deeply poached by cattle. Small coppice (dims. 32m c. N-S; 28m c.
