In level pasture. Circular raised area (diam. 18m) defined by an earthen scarp (Wth 3.2m; H 1.4m) with a flat-bottomed external fosse (overall Wth 3.8m; Wth at base 2.6m; D 0.4m). The fosse is best preserved SW-N being mostly infilled but clearly visible at ground level N-SW. A slight ramp (Wth 4m) across the scarped edge at ESE marks the position of the original entrance. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth with mature thorn bushes growing along the top of the scarped edge S-W.
