In improved, gently undulating pasture. Circular area (dims. 4.8m N-S; 4.2m E-W) defined by fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.1m) and remains of an outer bank (Wth 2.35m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.14m) SE-NW. Interior is slightly lower (0.04m) than exterior ground level. Wet rushy area to SE appears to be an old water channel. Land across this area has been sculpted in past by water activity and subsequently drained. Identified on an aerial photograph as a ring-ditch (OS 2435/4).
