In improved pasture, on a S-facing slope. A ditch barrow (TS066-027002-) is located c. 2m to the SE. Identified as a circular feature on an aerial photograph (OS 2397/8) during fieldwork (ASI 2009). An oval area (dims. 4.5m N-S; 5.7m E-W) defined by a fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.05m) which is truncated by old land drain (long-axis NW-SE) across the SSW-arc. There are the possible remains of an outer bank (Wth 4.35m; int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.12m) at W and a poorly drained area to the SW.
