What is recorded here

On top of a very slight rise in gently undulating low-lying pasture appearing to be truncated on the N side by a barrow (TS065-063007-) and enclosing another barrow (TS065-063006-) with other barrows in the vicinity. Identified on aerial photograph (Bruff 43, 5/2041). Semi-circular slightly raised area (dims. c. 20m N-S; c. 10m E-W) defined by a low irregular earthen scarp (Wth 1.4m; ext. H 0.25m) SSE-NNW. A barrow (TS065-063006-) is located to SSE of centre in the interior and an ENE-WSW orientated relic field boundary in the form of a very shallow drain crosses the S side of the interior intersecting with the edge of the enclosure at SW. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of revised upload: 15 September 2014
