In wet pasture, on a level area, just above a stream flowing roughly N-S c. 8m to WSW. A substantial enclosure and bailey (TS063-012----) are c. 45m to NNW and fulachta fiadh (TS063-076---- and TS063-077----) are c. 20m and c. 26m to SSW respectively. A classic U-shaped mound (overall dims. 17.8m NNW-SSE; 9.6m ENE-WSW) of heat shattered stone and black soil. The top of the mound is level with the ground to the rear at ENE and is better preserved (H 0.45m) on the NNW rather than the SSE side (H 0.25m). The trough area (dims. 8m NNW-SSE; c. 6.5m ENE-WSW) is open (Wth 5m) to the WSW. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
