Within the modern town of Mullinahone there is a 13th/14th-century hall-house (TS063-071001-), traditionally ascribed to the Knights Templar, and formerly a chapel (TS063-071004-) nearby (Cairns 1987, 14). There is no documentary, cartographic or visible evidence of a medieval settlement associated with the hall-house.
