In improved pasture, on a S-facing slope. A circular area (dims. 28m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by an inner bank (Wth at top 1.1m; overall Wth 5.4m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.8m), wide intervening fosse (basal Wth 2.4m; overall Wth 8.4m; D 0.3m) and the remains of an outer bank (Wth at top 1.6m; overall Wth 3.75m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.45m) from E-S-NW and otherwise only surviving intermittently where tree roots cling to it. The possible remains of an outer fosse (basal Wth 1.5m; overall Wth 3.45m; D 0.2m) are traceable from S-W-NW and both the outer and intervening fosse have been backfilled from NW-N-E. The inner bank has been badly eroded by cattle in the NE sector and has a gap (Wth 2m) at SSE. The intervening fosse is best preserved in the SE sector and from SSW-W-NW and has a slight step (Wth 1.25m; D 0.2m) on the outer side in places where the outer bank has slipped into it. The interior slopes down to S and is generally obscured by vegetation.
