On the edge of a natural terrace which drops to the W. A stream flows roughly N-S c. 100m to the W, in pasture. A roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 46m), defined by a scarp and a wide external fosse, identified on satellite imagery (DigitalGlobe, imagery date 2005-2012, Google Earth, imagery date 1 March 2022). A relict field boundary, running NNW-SSE along the external edge of the fosse in the NE section, is indicated on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. There is a ringfort (TS062-075----) c. 130m to the SE.
