In improved pasture, on an E-facing slope. An enclosure (TS062-109----) is located c. 200m to the NW. An oval area (dims. 27m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by the remains of bank reduced to scarp (Wth 0.9m; H 1.1m) which is levelled into the fosse in the S quadrant and a wide, shallow fosse (overall Wth 5.55m; basal Wth 3.5m; D 0.5m) and the poorly preserved intermittent remains of an outer bank (overall Wth 4.65m; Wth at top 1.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m) SE-S-WSW, WNW and NNW-N-NE. The fosse is best preserved from SW-N-ENE, is backfilled from ENE-E-ESE, is shallow and poorly preserved ESE-S-SW and appears backfilled at WSW. There is a possible causeway (Wth 2m) at NNW. According to Cahill (1982) material from the field boundary running E-W to S, has been backfilled into the fosse.
