In improved pasture, on a N-facing slope. It is depicted on the 1903-04 ed. OS 6-inch map as an arc of bank from NW-N-ESE (overall diam. c. 32m NW-SE) and the W edge is truncated by a field boundary running NNW-SSE. The enclosure had been levelled when visited by Cahill (1982) in 1975. It is not visible at ground level.
