On level ground on a gentle SE-facing slope in pasutre. Field used as a paddock and ground has been badly poached. Monument depicted as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1903-04 ed. OS 6-inch map with outer fosse in S quadrant. Enclosure levelled by present landowner's father in 1960s/70s and according to landowner two headstones were unearthed during this operation and subsequently reburied. A farm building (dims. c. 9m x 18m) aligned E-W had been erected on the site of the levelled monument and has since been removed, although the rough concrete floor of this rectangular building still survives in patches. Faint trace of curving scarp in the field may indicate the enclosing element of former S-W-NW sector of the monument. Field boundaries on the 1903-04 OS 6-inch map to N and E of monument have been removed and a new bank along E quadrant erected.
