In flat, level terrain with stream running NW-SE along SW edge of ringfort, under pasture. Large bivallate enclosure (diam. c. 90m), only NW quadrant survives. It consists of an earthen, round-topped bank (Wth 4.25m; int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.26m); flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2.3m; D 0.75m); outer bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.85m; ext. H 0.83m) and possible outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 1m below the adjacent field boundary). Ringfort has been damaged by the construction of field banks and ditches to carry run off from springs. Pond on line of banks and fosse in NE quadrant. Field boundary running roughly E-W transects the ringfort, though the monument is not visible at ground level S of the boundary.
