In improved pasture, on a very gentle S-facing slope. A castle (TS062-143----) and possible bawn (TS062-076----) are located c. 20m to N, with the scant remains of a curvilinear bank, running ENE-E-SE in between. Adjoining this bank are the remains of a sub-circular enclosure defined by faint traces of a possible bank running from the NW-E-SW and possible traces of a backfilled fosse from ENE-S-SW. It is truncated by a field boundary running N-S across the W sector.
