What is recorded here

In improved pasture, within a gentle hollow. It is depicted on the 2nd (1905) ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 110m) defined by a bank in the W quadrant and a scarp in the E quadrant, the N and S quadrants are not depicted. A tertiary road, running NE-SW, may have truncated the WNW edge of the enclosing element. When visited by Cahill (1982) the monument was in poor condition with one bank and fosse and the 'centre seems to have been damaged'. It is not visible at ground level.
