In flat terrain in gently undulating terrain under rough pasture. Roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 29m N-S; 27m ESE-WNW) which has been levelled, however, the NW-N-E sectors are incorporated in a field bank (Wth 3-4.5m; int. H 0.59-1.2m; ext. H 1.23-1.6m) with an ext. fosse/ditch (Wth 2.3-3.2m; D 0.33-0.63m) and slight traces of a possible ext. bank (Wth 4.9m; ext. H 0.24m) in the E quadrant while the S-SW sector survives as a low scarp (Wth 5m; ext. H 0.28m). Monument is very sheltered and at time of inspection was used as a feeding place for horses. Gate in field bank in NE quadrant.
