In improved pasture, on an E-facing slope. A D-shaped area (dims. 38m WNW-ESE; 32m NNE-SSW along straight side to ESE) defined by a bank (overall Wth 5m; Wth at top 2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.15m), best preserved from W-N-NNE and the remains of a fosse (overall Wth 4.5m; basal Wth 2m; D 0.5m) from WSW-W-NW and in the NE quadrant. The fosse has been backfilled along the straight side to the ESE and is truncated by a field boundary, running WNW-ESE, to the SSW. The interior slopes to the E.
