On a S-facing slope in undulating pasture, surrounding field quite waterlogged at time of inspection. Monument visible on aerial photograph taken in 1974 (GSI S.597/8, 16-4-1974). Circular flat-topped mound (diam. 18m N-S; 17.6m E-W) defined by scarp (H 0.58-0.72m) and shallow ext. fosse (Wth 2.8-4.2m; D 0.13-0.72m). Scarp slips into the fosse in the NE, SE and SW quadrant, may be entrance features or cattle denudation. Interior is slightly raised (H 0.34 over 4m) in the N quadrant.
