In improved pasture, on a low rise. Circular area (dims. 26m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by bank (overall Wth 6.3m; Wth at top 1.5m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.25m) NW-NNW, NE-E, low bank SSE-SSW and reduced to scarp (Wth 2.15m; H 1m) E-SSE, SSW-NW and NNW-NE. Entrance gap (Wth 3m) at SE appears modern. Interior is dish-shaped. A sketch plan and profiles of the monument drawn in 1954 indicate a fosse from NW-N-NE (OS Field Memorandums). According to Cahill (1982, R32), 'site consists of a high, raised area enclosed by a bank. No evidence of ditch.'
