In improved pasture, on highest area of field: Great views in all directions. Circular area (dims. 29m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by bank, reduced to scarp (Wth 3.15-3.3m; H 1.4-1.6m). Possible entrance (Wth 1.5m) at N could be modern or maybe enhanced by livestock. Possible causeway (Wth 2.5m) at N, but may be build up of soil from slippage. Fosse (overall Wth 7.15m; basal Wth 1.35m; D 1.35m) NW-SSW. Evidence of possible quarrying at SE, where fosse (dims. 14m NNE-SSW; 10m WNW-ESE; D1.4m) is wide and deep. Interior is well grazed allowing identification of subtle traces of cultivation furrows (general long axis N-S; Wth c. 1.5m; D 0.04m). Trigonometric point on exterior of fosse at NE.
