What is recorded here

In improved pasture, on an ENE-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 31.5m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by remains of levelled scarp (Wth 1m; H 0.25m). Outer fosse (basal Wth 2.4m; overall Wth 5.05m; D 0.4m) SE-N, has been backfilled in places, simulating occasional causeways and is waterlogged between these. Fosse is best preserved on upslope around WSW-arc. Interior slopes down to ENE with prevalent slope. Scar of waterpipe trench (long-axis NW-SE) truncates ENE-sector. Field boundaries to SW and SE removed. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
