In improved pasture, on the upper contour of an E-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 22m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by bank (overall Wth 5.1m; Wth at top 1.1m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 1.05m) N-S and reduced to scarp S-SSW. Scarp (Wth 4m; H 0.25m) levelled SSW-N. Entrance gap (overall Wth 5m; basal Wth 3.25m) to E. Fosse (overall Wth 4.1m; basal Wth 1.5m; D 0.15m) N-E and ESE-SSW has been backfilled unevenly. Interior has an uneven surface across a level centre and an E-facing slope across E-half. Silage slab to W is cut into ground surface and is defined to N and E by a low, modern bank. Field boundaries to E and S removed. Ringfort (TS061-043----) is c. 30m to SW.
