In improved pasture, on elevated area at top of a S-facing slope. No visible surface trace. According to Wheeler (16/04/1957) this was an oval area (dims. 180' N-S; 168' E-W) defined by a stoney bank (int. H 2'; ext. H 5'6”) SW-NW and a scarp (H 2'6”-3') NW-SW. Fosse (Wth 15') NW-NE and possible outer bank here also. Wheeler (ibid) suggests that interior may have been disturbed by later wall foundations within SW-quadrant.
