What is recorded here

In good pasture, on a N-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 28m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by bank (overall Wth 3.25-4.75m; Wth at top 0.75-1.7m; int. H 0.4-0.55m; ext. H 0.2-0.55m) of earth and stone. Bank (L c. 8m) absent ESE-SE where it is delineated by vegetation. Entrance gap (Wth 3m) at NNE. Feint trace of a possible fosse (overall Wth 4m; basal Wth 1.25m; D 0.05m) SE-SW. Interior is obscured by overgrowth. Abundant loose stone (L 0.15-0.2m) within interior may be result of field clearance. Field boundary (long axis NNW-SSE) to W has been removed.
