In level meadow (grazed by horses) and truncated by existing tertiary road across N-half. Semi-circular area (dims. 26m WNW-ESE; 10m NNE-SSW) defined by remains of earthen bank (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.8m; Wth at top 1.15m; total Wth 3.65m) and outer fosse (basal Wth 1.7m; overall Wth 5.25m; Dth 0.45m) ESE-WNW and truncated by road across N-half. Levelled remains of N-half may exist under the roadway (b. post-1903-4). Fosse is backfilled at ESE beside gate entrance to field and is waterlogged SE-SW. Interior surface is disturbed by livestock and machinery. Depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map as an oval area (dims. c. 30mWNW-ESE; c. 25m NNE-SSE) truncated by field boundary (long-axis WNW-ESE) through centre.
