In pasture, on the upper edge of a gentle E-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 28m E-W; 23m N-S) defined by earthen bank (Wth 4.85-7.85m; int. H 0.15-0.45m; ext. H 0.5-0.55m). Possible entrance (overall Wth 5m; basal Wth 2m) at ESE. Intervening fosse (overall Wth 5.25-6.4m; basal Wth 1.5-2.2m; D 0.15-0.55m) best preserved SE-WSW, NE-SE. Remains of outer bank (Wth 7.6m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.35m) best preserved SE-WSW and levelled traces elsewhere. Interior is generally clear and slopes down to E with prevalent slope. Levelled remains of former field boundary (long axis c. E-W) extend from monument at NE.
