In improved pasture, on elevated area with good views. Flat-topped, circular mound (dims. 4.5m WNW-ESE; 4.5m NNE-SSW) of earth and stone is defined by scarp (Wth 2.85m; H 0.75m) which is levelled out (Wth 3.4m; H 0.45m) at SSW. Interior is covered in tall grasses (H 0.5-0.7m). Monument fenced off just above base and scarp is denuded by cattle SSW-NNE below this. Cross (TS060-072002-) and holy well (TS060-072003-) adjacent to WNW. According to OS Namebooks (O'Donovan 1840), this is the 'site of a well, [and] a small cairn with a cross upon it'.
