In improved undulating pasture, on a level area. Circular area (dims. 32m NE-SW; 34m NW-SE) defined by a low bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1.5m) from NNW-NNE which is reduced to scarp (Wth 1.3m; H 0.15m) ENE-ESE, and remains of an external fosse (Wth 6m; D 0.1m) from SE-SSE. The scarp has been modified as an access ramp from SSE-SSW. A levelled bank (overall Wth 4.25-5m; int. H 0.05-0.1m; ext. H 0.18-0.2m) defines the monument from SW-NW and at the SE. The fosse has been deepened (Wth 3.05m; D 1.05m) in the NW-ENE sector as part of a field drain which extends south-eastward and west-south-westward beyond the monument. The interior has an uneven surface. A levelled field boundary, aligned ENE-WSW, extends 18m from the exterior at the SW quadrant.
