In improved pasture. A circular area (dims. 28m N-S; 27m E-W) defined by a low bank (Wth 7-8.2m; int. H 0.25-0.45m; ext. H 1.4-2.25m), fosse (Wth 9m; D 0.9m) visible from SSE-W-N, but backfilled from N-ENE and E-SE. There are the remains of a field boundary (Wth 2.35m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.2m) from the SW-N which may have incorporated an outer bank. There are entrance gaps (Wth 3.75m and Wth c. 4m) at the NNE and E respectively. There is a linear berm (Wth 11.5m) defined by a scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.5m) to E and to S. These meet at a right-angle at SE, within which there is an area of quarrying (dims. 10m NE-SW; 8m NW-SE; D c. 1.3m). The interior is grass covered and saucer shaped. There is a standing stone (TS059-150----) c. 15m to the E. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
