What is recorded here

In poorly drained, gently undulating rough pasture, on a low rise. A circular raised level area (dims. 7.5m N-S; 6m E-W) defined by low scarp (Wth 1.6m; H 0.2m) which is best preserved (Wth 2.7m; H 0.6m) from N-ESE. This central area is enclosed by a level berm (Wth 2.65m), defined by a scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.2m) from SSW-NW, which may be utilising the natural topography. A townland boundary abuts to the SE and the Tipperary-Dundrum road runs NE-SW c. 25m to the NW. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
