In poorly drained, gently undulating pasture. Monument identified on an aerial photograph (GSI R.439/8, 16/04/1974). An oval area (dims. 22m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a low bank (Wth 5.6m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.55m) at the NNE-ENE and WSW-NNW which is reduced to scarp (Wth 2.6m; H 0.37m) at the NNW-NNE and ENE-WSW, and an external fosse (Wth 4.8-4.9m; D 0.07-0.1m) at the NNW-ENE and ESE-SW. There is a possible modern entrance (Wth 6m) at the SE and NNW (Wth 3m), where the scarp is very low. The interior is grass covered and uneven.
