In wet area of level pasture; land falls gently to N. An oval level area (dims. 29m NE-SW; 24m NW-SE) defined by the remains of a levelled bank (overall Wth 7.05m; Wth at top 1.9m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.9m) ENE-SSW and reduced to scarp (Wth 3.65m; H 0.65m) SW-N and an external fosse (Wth 8.4m; D 0.4m) ENE-N which is choked with vegetation SW-WSW and waterlogged NW-NNW. In the N-ENE there is a break in the bank (Wth 12m) where it has been levelled. There is a possible entrance (Wth 5m) in the S quadrant. The bank is incorporated in a low, earthen field boundary (Wth 2.85m; int. H 1.05m; ext. H 0.65m) from E-NW.
