What is recorded here

In level wet pasture. Roughly triangular slightly raised area (max. dims. 20m NE-SW; 16m NW-SE) enclosed by the trace remains of a possible earthen bank (ext. H 0.8m; Wth at top 3m; overall Wth. 5.4m) with an external fosse (Wth at base 0.4m; overall Wth 1.6m; D 0.6m) that appears to the NE quadrant of a larger circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m). The possible bank and the fosse enclose the monument NNW-ENE with the W side being defined by a N-S flowing stream and the S side by a NE-SW orientated field drain and bank. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
