On top of a very slight dry rise in otherwise level wet pasture. Roughly circular very slightly raised area (dims. 21m E-W; 19m N-S) enclosed by a low flat-topped earthen bank (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.3m; Wth at top 1.65m; overall Wth. 3.9m) with a narrow external fosse (Wth at base 1m; overall Wth 1.4m; D 0.2m). The bank and fosse have been straightened off SE-SSW to make them parallel to a now relic E-W orientated field drain that lies 1.5m to the S of the ringfort. Original entrance is not recognisable and interior is level and clear of overgrowth.
