Unlocated watermill within townland, watermill referred to in the Civil Survey (1654-6) where it describes ' a Mill standiing upon a small streame about Muskett shott from the Castle' (Simington 1931 vol. 1, 114). This mill may have been located to the SW of Lisnamrock castle (TS055-006001-) and close to the townland border where on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map a stream is marked 'Old Mill Stream', part of a millrace (TS055-080----) which may have served the mill referred to in the Civil Survey. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
