In grassland on a SW-facing slope of rising ground in upland area with good views to SW higher ground to NE. Ringfort (TS055-055----) located 120m to SE. Roughly oval-shaped area (diam. 34m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by a low barely visible rise of ground (Wth 2m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.3m) visible from S through W to N and intermittently on the other sides. Not indicated on 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map, and hachured as semi-circular rise of ground on the 1903 ed. Doubtful antiquity, in places it has the appearance of a natural terrace on sloping terrain.
