In grassland on a S-facing slope of rising ground in upland area with good views in all directions. Old laneway (Wth 6.5m ) flanked on either side by an earth and stone bank (H 0.8m; base Wth 1.5m; top Wth 0.6m) running N-S from farmhouse down to fields containing possible church (TS055-052004-) still present but disused. Described by Bersu in 1947 as an ancient road (NMI Correspondence Registers IA/259/47).
