On top of high ground with commanding/panoramic views of surrounding countryside in upland region. Poorly preserved levelled ringfort (int. diam. 40m N-S; 41m E-W; overall diam. 50m N-S; 48m E-W) consisting of a circular area defined by a low rise of ground/scarp (H 0.2-0.6m)and partially visible filled in outer fosse (top Wth 5m; base Wth 3m; ext. D 0.3m) visible from SE to S and from NW to N only. No other features visible. On the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map monument is located within a small rectangular field the boundaries of which have since been levelled. The impressive siting of this monument may suggest a classification other than ringfort.
