On flat land immediately E of a nearby stream with nearby castle (TS055-015----) 200m and church (TS055-016----) 350m to SE. Ballingarry creamery located on site of corn mill and kiln of 19th-century date, no remains or any indication of a watermill referred to in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as a 'Mill standing upon a little brooke near the castle' (Simington 1931, vol.1, 113). Mill may have been located anywhere along the stream located to the N of the castle (TS055-015----), it is currently unlocated within the townland.
