In reclaimed flat grassland overlooking small river valley to W in upland region with good views in all directions. Mill and mill race (TS055-080----) located 60m to W. Ringfort consists of a slightly raised circular area (int. diam. 34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 2m; base Wth 4m; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.4-0.8m) with the faintest remains of a filled in outer fosse (Wth 2m; ext. D 0.1m). Possible entrance gap (Wth 6m) at SW. Bank is best preserved from SW through W to N. Possible 19th century drain (Wth 2m; d 0.3m) running across the W half of the ringfort on a N-S axis from bank to bank, interior of monument covered in rushes and was waterlogged at time of visit.
