The church of Lickfinn is mentioned in the Papal Taxation. According to local tradition it was situated in Tullequane on the lands of Mr. Wm. Maher, on the Ballynonty Road mid-way between Lickfinn and Ballynonty. Lickfinn was also known as Goddardstown (McCormack 1989, 16). The church is unlocated within the townland.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
