In grassland on just off summit of hillock on a E-facing slope in undulating area with good views in all directions. Slightly raised circular area (int. diam. 32m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1.7m; base Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1-2.6m) and outer fosse (base Wth 2m; top Wth 6m; ext. D 0.3m) visible from W through S to E only not visible elsewhere. Possible entrance gap (Wth 4m) at E. Large deep pit (L 20m x Wth 8m; D 3m) dug in adjoining field to NE of ringfort. Gaps in bank (Wth 2m) at SW and N (Wth 2m) both appear to be livestock gaps.
