On low rise of ground on wet poorly drained land with good views in all directions, nearby ringfort (TS052-041----) visible 390m to NE and large enclosure (TS052-047----) 450m to SW. No surface remains visible. Depicted as a semi-circular enclosure (approx. diam. 10m N-S; 20m E-W) on the first (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map which only the S half of the enclosure surviving and intersected by a field boundary at N running on an E-W direction. On the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map only the W quadrant is depicted.
