On top of a low knoll in wet flat grassland with good views in all directions. Scrub-covered raised D-shaped area (int. diam. 29m NW-SE; 27m SW-NE) defined by a bank which has been reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m) and outer fosse (top Wth 5.8m; base Wth 2.5m; ext. D 0.7m) which has been filled in from NE through E to SE. Straight side at S (L 22m) where it is intersected by a field boundary on an E-W axis. There is no clear entrance feature visible.
