Just off summit of hill on a SSW-facing slope with good extensive views in all directions with nearby moated site (TS051-034----) c. 400 to NW. Monument consists of a raised platform enclosed by a low bank (wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) only preserved at NE, elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 0.7-1m) with steep drop enclosing the ringfort from S through W to SW. This cliff face may be the result of modern quarrying which has cut away the W face of the hill on top of which the ringfort is located thus giving the monument a modern cliff edge location. The interior of the ringfort follows that natural slope of the hill from N to S with no clear evidence of an entrance feature or outer fosse.
